Walking Dead Season 6 Finale

I wish I was writing a review of the Walking Dead finale, but instead I'm writing about reviews about reviews.  People are so upset about this because the finale did not show who died, only that someone from the viewer's point of view was getting beaten to death.  Supposedly there's clues as to who died, and if I get motivated enough I'll try to figure it out, though most likely I'll just wait till the Season 7 premiere.  It's' funny because some of the stuff I was reading online said things like, "the show is broken" or "this was a half-measure at best" as though the show is somehow on its last legs.  The very fact that people are whiny about the finale because they don't who died is an accomplishment in itself.  Personally I'm not excited about not knowing, I think it sucks not to know, but from a storytelling standpoint and from a TV writing standpoint it makes perfect sense.  If you're trying to up the game and be original why not do something other shows won't do, or are unable to do.  This thing has people talking.  That's the whole point.  You do something big, you do something unexpected, you do something that other stories won't.  This finale was a huge success, even if you hate it.  It leaves so many possibilities open, and it continues to follow the same model, or ripping you apart emotionally, the same way the zombies rip up everything else.
