Researching Feminism and Writing the Novel

I had to print out some of the most bizarre nonsense from the feminists camp this weekend.  I have to look at this stuff for my little project on manhood, and it boggles the mind that people write things like intercourse is rape, or that all men are rapists or something.  Some of this stuff is dated material, and some of it is fairly recent and it just seems like feminist theories get wilder and wilder as time goes on.  I thought feminism was supposed to be about equality, not trying to accuse a whole gender of being rapists.  Its sad because these writers have no clue about gender issues, and no clue what most of the male population actually think about women.  Of course to distract myself from some this absurdity, I have to hop into other projects.  I'm still working on my novella, and I think its going ok. I'm about 17 or 18 pages in now, but since books are printed in smaller page sizes, I might be into page 25 or something when it makes it to actual print.  So far its not to bad, I get annoyed at how long writing takes sometimes, but if you really care about something you'll stick it out, and I hope that's what I'm doing.  So far the whole "process" isn't too bad, and even my wife thinks something good will come of it all.
