Darker
Seems like this novel is taking a grim and more realistic turn. There's something to say for making things more complex. Life is complicated, and stories should be too. Complex but not complicated. You distract with one hand, so that no one's paying attention to the other. Otherwise, where's the interest, where's the intrigue, where's the desire to see the solution to the problem? I tend to think that life gets more realistic, as you go along in life, and this story is getting more realistic too. I'm sure I'm wrong about how things take place in the reality as far as this story is concerned, but I made it work for this story. Its kinda nutty when you start tapping into your own pain and experiences how much you try to resolve those old problems into a fictional world. It helps with the realism, helps progress the story, and even helps you deal with some things too.
