Stupid Cold

I've got a heavy cold, if not the flu the last few days.  I got sick Friday for the first time in a couple of years actually.  I'm dizzy, have a heap of sinus pressure that makes it hard to breathe, and hard to do anything else either.  I was dumb enough to go into work yesterday and my head felt like it was going to explode most of the day.  I was surprised I made it home because my headache was so bad.  Naturally I've been sleeping a lot and now I'm supposed to work on the weekend, and this doesn't bode well for all the reading I've been wanting to get done.  Its not easy to try and read when your eyeball feels like it wants to explode.  Too graphic?  I'm staying home tomorrow one more day to get better, and maybe finish off this book on the history of prisons, for some research reading I'm doing my book.  Ironically, I can't seem to get away from this book and move onto something else.
